PARENT | CAREGIVER CLASS

Our parent | caregiver child classes meet weekly and take place outdoors.

We've designed a child led class that lets children follow their own imaginations and allows them the independence to explore on their own. The class is minimal and that's intentional. We want each child's encounter with nature to be magical, so we try not to interfere with that magic..

Most of the children who attend forest school are between 6 months and six years old but we welcome all ages. We have found children and parents learn a lot from each other in a mixed-age setting. 

Our meaningful play class pulls from multiple teaching approaches. We explore Reggio Emilia methods by using natural materials in our natural environment, we support our children through guided independence by introducing Montessori practices. All of these methods come together by our gentle teaching practices and hold emotional intelligence in high regards when guiding our children.
